We Are Animals
Students composed six-line perspective poems in which they chose an animal they feel resembled them.
Elijah The animal that resembles me is a bear I live in the woods, I love to eat honey, If you don't watch out I might use my chompers and eat your head! Sometimes I get hunted, Im good at catching fish in my mouth from a stream I am big and furry!!
I am Mixture of two other animals I am Long and powerful I am Fast runner and jumper I amBeautiful and majestic I am Tall and a powerful bite force I Love to eat meat and anything else it can hunt
Ben- The animal that resembles me is a Wolf. With strength and agility, day by day I increase my ability to make others my prey. I stick with a pack, they watch my back.
I think I resemble a puppy. I am little and fiery. Up to no good could be considered my middle name. Picking on people and playing is what I love. I'm not very smart, Education is not my thing.
Billy Sosa The animal that resembles me is a Panda Bear. I love to eat and eat and eat Slowly steadily and carefully I move. Loving when the greenery engulfs me intelligent and unique is something i need not prove. Beware of me when I rome For I will always protect my home.
Jacob Anderson, the animal that resembles me is the Wolf. I'm a fast runner. Mostly I am usually in groups or alone. I like to hunt animals. I communicate with family long distance. I like being in forest. I am watchful on what is going on.

Going long distances to reach my objective. Using my brain and acting smart. Like to leave my home to explore new things. Shiny, beautiful, and very pretty. Having fun and enjoying myself. Looking for friends all around.
I'm fierce when I need to be. The hobbies I have include sitting in the sun. My hair is sometimes unmanageable. I like to be lazy, but I can be quick and dangerous. I'm a leader of the jungle. I like to run and play.
Gabriela Lizeth Gomez The animal that resembles me is a tiger.
I chase after what I want in life, I take care of the people that mean the most, I like to wear tiger striped things, I guess you could say I'm adorable, Tigers are my favorite animals, I am nice when I want to be nice,
The animal that resembles me is a kitten. I love to play. I like attention from the people I love. I am naive. I like to curl up in a ball. I like to sleep. I like to focus on little things.
I try and I try, but every time I reach out I'm not within arms length, My anger rises and rises as I keep trying, still no, no matter how much I use my strength. So I'll stomp on all your heads to take my anger out on you, Everyone runs away because they knew, If you stand in my way, Your heart will be crushed and break :)
Ana The animal that resembles me is a dog. I am very loyal, and I am very protective. I can be very playful and fun. I am fast, and have a lot of energy. I am also very laid-back, most of the time.
With my love of glitter and extraordinary rainbow colors, I ooze glory and beauty with my shiny horn and long hair. My spirit is enchanted with exotic life, only to those who are worthy will I reveal my true self to. My colorful unicorn hair whips brightly in the sunlight, I am unseen by many, unbelieved in by most, but loved by those who see.
Brooke Elphic The animal that resembles me is a pony. Graceful, strong, beautiful I am very obedient and dedicated to my work but can be stubborn. Small but mighty, I am smart but indecisive, energetic and hyper Curious and yet a little fearful.
Alyssa Hamilton The animal that resembles me is a horse Running with the wind Whipping the hair out of my eyes I stand tall I stand strong My body can hold itself together No matter what happens.
Hailey Manley The animal that resembles me is a butterfly. A social butterfly. Colorful and graceful. Rambling and ranting. Flying and fluttering. Talkative and free. A small little butterfly represents me.
Brooke. The animal that resembles me is a gazelle. I am graceful, I am strong, I jump alot, I protect my family, I love to be outside, I love to soak in the sun.
Angelo The animal that resembles me is a snake I am fast and I have patients I am small and roam allot I got fast reflexes Also i am graceful I have sharp teeth Also I like meat.
Marshall The animal that resembles me is a squirrel small,sometimes fat I am very fast quick on my feet climb tree's fast and blend in the tree's live in the woods Fat as a pig but i'm a squirrel Im jump from branch to branch fastly
I'm not going to quit, I'll be pushed down and I will get up again, I want to see great things, Quitting is not in my vocabulary, I hate to be set aside, Heart is what I'm made of.

Rats are talkative and charming and I am talkative and charming. Rats have a tendency to become aggressive and I have a tendency to become aggressive. Rats have wit and I have wit.
Abby The animal that resembles me is a kangaroo I go long distance Travel all the time i pack a lot of stuff to go i am nice and sometimes mean all of a sudden i am a kangaroo having fun
I am a tiger because I am fast Run in a race against me and you'll get passed I like to eat meat with my teeth And I like to run with my feet Like a tiger I can be patient My emotions I don't like to vent
Jenna The animal that resembles me is a chameleon I like to blend in and not stand out I rather just be there I try to avoid confrontation I will go with the flow I am always changing my colors and how I see things I try to see what is really going on
Amber The animal that resembles me is a Himalayan Monal.
I am a rare bird. I like to stand out. I want to help and protect those around me. I can be colorful or plain. I am covered in greens, blues, purples, and reds. I am a rare find yet there are many of me
Karter The animal that i resemble is...a Peacock! I am a girl of many colors. I am proud of who I am.. I have many characteristics!.. I am a very noticeable person.. I like to be bold, and make a statement.. I am unique in many ways,,and you won't find anyone quite like me
I am mysterious. You don't know what I might do next. I may look innocent, But when I strike you'll be surprised. I float like a butterfly but I sting like a bee.
