Caption Writing Activity
Freshmen and sophomores wrote captions for the following picture. The students were instructed to include the 5 W's and H in one well-developed sentence.
Six young boys, about 8 years old, are forced to hang on a pole with powder on their hands. If they let go the crazy old man that is supervising them will use a paddle to beat them. Why he is doing this the kids don't know, but in his mind young children should not be allowed to run around and play like kids do.
SomeThai kids are being sold at a market in a auction of some sort. So to keep them still, they have to be on a stick during the day in a simple bidding.
6 little Asian boys are having a monkey contest in Asia for a prize of all the food they could ever eat, but they have been hanging for 72 hours and are starting to get weak, not even the camera can make them smile.
It is October 28 and 6 little Vietnamese kids are holding on to a piece of wood for practice for gymnastics at there school.They hold on tight using there powdered hands.
Six kids where instructed to hang on wood as a punishment by their parents and their hands could not come off because they were super glued when they were young, everyday.
Amber There are six boys from China who are in gymnastics and are posing for a picture, but three of the six do not want to be in the picture and are crying about it.
Taylor Rapp all of those Chinese kids got in trouble so they have to hang there for 5 hours. If the let go they have to start all over. Some of them are crying because the have been hanging on so long.
These kids are chinese and have are being punished for somthing they did they all have to hang on that pole and the last one to drop doesnt get a beating.
These boys are having competition to see who can hang on the longest. The boy who hangs on the longest gets bragging rights over everyone else until next Saturday when the next competition is.
A bunch of little kids from Africa on October 28, 2011 decided to hang on to a pole they found. They wanted to see how many kids they can have on the pole before it snaps. They have 6 hanging on the pole, but the pole hasn’t snapped yet so they need more kids. They had nothing better to do.
Karter •Little 7 year old boys are hanging on for their lives, because if they don't sure enough they will fall into a lagoon where hungry alligators await.
A contest was held on June 7th 1976 in China to determine to see what Asian kid could hold on the longest to the pole. The contest started off with 6 contestant but only had room for one winner. First place went to young Ching-Chang Chuy who won a free trip to America.
In China some where, there are six little boys trying to hold for there lives. Some think that they will make it but some are trifled for there lives. If they were to fall they could be disqualified for the 2020 Olympics.
In china little boys hold on even sunday so that they can have food. The last one hanging gets the food for the week.
