English 9: Flash Fiction Bell Ringer

English 9 students wrote creative stories in the style of Flash-Fiction (100 words or less) based upon the following title:

"We Were Learning to Make Fire"

Students were to pay special attention to the development of plot and characters.

Macbeth Soliloquies in a Modern Dialect

Students in English 11, in an effort to demonstrate an understanding for Shakespeare's language and the importance of soliloquies to the infamous tragedy of Macbeth, created modernized scripts and employed a modern dialect of their choice. Students had fun with the assignment. Some snapshots, videos, and word documents can be seen below.
